Parents should:-
- Never force a child to play football; they should want to play and enjoy it.
- Offer to help the club in any way you can. The club is run by volunteers and needs parents to actively help and support it
- Read and understand the club’s procedures on child protection and other codes of conduct
- Praise effort and performance more than results
- Praise good behaviour quickly to show adults value it.
- Do not argue with the officials; they are volunteers as well!
- Do not coach from the sidelines or shout at a player that makes a mistake.
- Stay off the pitch during matches.
- Show the players you enjoy watching the game no matter what the result.
- Respect other players by giving the club good notice if you are unable to attend a game.
- Talk to your child’s manager if you have concerns and questions.
